The Adobe Photoshop CS3 Classroom in a Book is the perfect learning tool for any first time user of Photoshop. I had never used photoshop before so I bought this book to learn how and it makes it really easy to learn. Lessons are included in which it takes you through a step by step learning experience so when done you know how to use the tools learned in the particular lesson. I would definetly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to use photoshop!Book Review: good tutorial

This book was recommended to me by a photoshop trainer I hired for a 2-day private photoshop CS3 training session. The first day was lessons straight out of the book, with the aide of a professional helping along the way and it was great. The experience gave me confidence and an understanding of the way photoshop CS3 is navigated to move forward in the future. I feel this book, and it's lessons will enable me to achieve that on my own now.Book Review: More comprehensive than the "Dummies" books.

Adobe has done a very good job with their "Classroom in a Book" series. I purchased The "Dummies" book when I first started learning Photoshop 7. Then I took a college class that used the Adobe book (which is why I bought this book for CS3). Adobes' book covers EVERYTHING you can do with Photoshop, albeit briefly. Just follow the book and you will at least touch on everything the software can do. I recommend it highly.Book Review: written very well

usually i have a really hard time reading books on computer programs, but this book is written very well. I am actually able to read this book, and follow along on photoshop. It goes over the basics, but without seeming to spend entire chapters on how to open or save a file. It moves quickly, but not too quickly. This is definetly the best book, on a computer program, that i've ever read.Book Review: Great introductory book!

I'm a novice to Photoshop. This book has proven to provide me with all the core details on how to get up and running quickly. A friend has learned all the Adobe products using Classroom in a Book and I agree that you can get a great introduction to the product just by using this book. The CD contains great projects that the book walks you through. Well thought through.
