Book Reviews of Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 Hands-On TrainingBook Review: Great book to learn Dreamweaver CS3 Summary: 5 Stars
This book makes Dreamweaver very clear, and when I have a question, it is always answered in the next sentence. It is so clear and easy to understand. It has a cd in the back with excercises in it for every chapter. Then the illustion in the chapter will show you how it is supposed to look....just like a text book!! Very well written and easy to follow. I have computer experience but not much with web design, so I am basically a beginner. Thanks.
Book Review: Great Book Summary: 5 Stars
Ive been trying to learn HTML/CSS and then create pages with Dreamweaver. This book is very easy to learn from because of the layout and clear instructions. The first half of the book is geared toward beginners and people who do not totally understand the use of CSS in web design. However, for an intermediate user, these tutorials act as a great exercise and you may even learn a few keyboard shortcuts along the way. Great book.
Book Review: pretty good introduction to dreamweaver Summary: 5 Stars
This is not a reference manual type of book. It is an instructional manual for following page by page with instructions, to make various pages. This book includes exercise files to follow along.
Basically, it is a nice introductory text book for Dreamweaver beginners. And if you familiar with other books in "Hands On Training" series, you'll know what I mean. It's nice series, and this particular book is nice too.
Book Review: Must Have Dreamweaver Book Summary: 5 Stars
A must-have manual for all Web designers who use Dreamweaver at any level. One of the HOT series of hands-on computer books published by Lynda.com. Each chapter is a tutorial covering a separate web design task, such as CSS, typograpjy, tables, etc. If you work your way through all 21 chapters you will have built a very complex web site. I have lots of Dreamweaver books, but this one is by far the best.
Book Review: Excellent Dreamweaver Development by Example Summary: 5 Stars
You incrementally build a beautiful web site for a Coffee company. The techniques you learn are well documented and thought out. As a tutorial, I would strongly endorse the book. I have learned to use Dreamweaver to a greater degree than I did before, but I also learned how to construct a visually appealing web site. Nice graphics and colors. I recommend the book.
