A Workbook for Dyslexics is a great resource for people who are teaching reading. We teach reading to adults and find this invaluable as it has everything you need in one place. We also use it for teaching ESL and it is just as useful there.
Summary of A Workbook for Dyslexics
This workbook contains 55 lessons with exercises and word lists, designed to gradually teach the dyslexic student to decode words using phonics, rules, memory cues and much more. The lessons gradually build up to the next topic, offering repetition for reinforcement. This reading program is based on the well known Orton-Gillingham method for overcoming dyslexia.
