Merkos Publications has just released a delightful new board book in their "A Touch and Feel Book" series for preschoolers that will prove especially popular. With a simple and appealing text by Ari Sollish wonderfully framed with colorful artwork by Boruch Becker, A Touch Of Passover is a "mini-guide" to the springtime jewish holiday which celebrates the Exodus from Egypt. There is a bumpy "matzah" that's authentic looking right down to the browned bubbles, a wine illustration that comes alive with a shiny Bordeaux patch that's also sticky like real wine, a "leather" "Haggadah" seder-book cover, a crinkled leaf of bitter herbs, and a silky "matzah" bag, all of which combine to provide a true "touch me" experience in this toddler-proof board book. A Touch Of Passover is also available in a Spanish language edition (0826600222, $8.00).
