Book Reviews of A Lion's Tale: Around the World in SpandexBook Review: Highly Recommended, Very Entertaining Summary: 5 Stars
I picked up this book on a whim during a layover in Denver. I thought this would be a meathead book by some roid'ed out jock "as told to by" I went to the gym and worked out and took vitamins, repeat 400 times.
Man was I ever wrong.
Chris (Irving) Jericho spins a very humorous and introspective tail of setting a goal and achieving a dream. He does not hide the low points of his life and really documents a fascinating journey thru the still active career of a Professional Wrestler.
I highly recommend this book to see the drive and passion of someone that loves their job and wants to be the best in all aspects of it. Also for a great laugh and true tail of boy becoming a Lion...
Book Review: Finally Summary: 5 Stars
I've been a Chris Jericho fan for years, I'll even say he is my favorite wrestler, so now with the oncoming Chris Jericho DVD (It's about time...the man should've had one sooner) coming out next month, I knew I needed to get this book, I've heard great things about it since it first came out, and I haven't been disappointed in it, very insightful and funny. It tells the full story of Jericho up to his debut into the WWF/WWE. I hear he is writing another book that should be coming out soon. (not sure when) So, go order yourself a copy of this book...even if you aren't a wrestling fan, maybe this will help you have some respect for what it is they do for a living.

Book Review: A Lion's Tale proof dreams can come true. Summary: 5 Stars
This book whether you're a wrestling fan or not, is written proof that through hard work and determination, you can make your dreams come true. This very well written book goes through the life of hardships and success of Chris Jericho's life and how he chased his dreams and made it to the top of his crafts. He is a successful wrestler and rock star all because of hard work and determination. If you want something bad enough and you need some inspiration to give you a kick start or a restart, pick this book up. Watch him on TV listen to his music, he does it all and truely is the best at what he does, title belts or not...he earned it. Thank you Mr. Jericho.
Book Review: A Real Surprise! Summary: 5 Stars
Despite the five-star reviews and having always enjoyed the Chris Jericho character on WCW and WWF, I was skeptical about the book but bought it anyway given the price. Skeptical no more. This is a hilarious, laugh-out-loud tome that seems honest and forthright. Chris is a great writer who knows how to keep the story moving as he tells about one guy chasing and realizing his dream and about the business side of wrestling, an ugly industry that came across to me as a mix between the Mafia and prostitution where talent are a fungible commodity to be used and abused by the boss at will. I'm looking forward to Chris' next book.
Book Review: A Hilarious and Entertaining Read Summary: 5 Stars
This book is a must read for any pro wrestling fan. Once I started reading this book, I literally could not put it down. Chris Jericho tells a story as easy to read as it is to watch on TV every week. Follow him from a boyhood dream to winning the most coveted title in the industry. He explains in amusing detail his exploits in wrestling all over the world including Mexico, Japan and Germany. I would recommend this book to any person (wrestling fan or not) who enjoys great story telling and hilarious comedy.
