The History of US may look similar to a typical textbook at first glance, but that's where the comparison ends. Written in an engaging style with plenty of photos, drawings and other visuals to keep it interesting, this series of books held our family's attention from beginning to end. As an adult, I felt I learned -- and understood! -- more about aspects of our country's history than I ever did before. My children also have a better grasp of how world history integrates with American history because of these books. I highly recommend it!
