Book Review: Good companion for the field guide

Since the CD is organized to relate to the Peterson field guide, it's very useful as an additional resource for identification. Although there are several bird songs on each track, time markers are given for individual songs so it isn't too difficult to forward to a particular example. As a new bird watcher, I've also found it interesting to listen to the CD by itself to get a sense of the variations within groups of birds. The Amazon prices for the field guide and CD seem very fair.
