Book Review: Detailed, but inaccurate game pricing....

I was excited when I found this book. I have played/collected video games for years and am always on the lookout of reference and price guides. I was, however, rather disapointed when the book arrived.
The guide is really detailed, listing thousands of titles for tons of different consoles - they did a great job in that arena. The price estimates however are very inaccurate in my opinion. Even though the book lists that "High" and "Low" prices are just "guidelines', you will find that old, non-collectible consoles/games are estimated way higher than any street or used price I've seen (ex.: Gameboy Advance system - high price is $90....I'm not sure what I paid for mine new when it came out years ago but it certianly was less than that price...and this book was written in 2007!). The low prices are also inflated and about the only accurate estimate of street price would be found by cutting the low price in half. No pictures of games or consoles are featured in the book, making it difficult for individuals to find items unless they know the name.
The book is a good catalog if you are simply trying to find out if a game was made for a particular console. For semi-accurate pricing or for identification of an item, I feel it is inaccurate and my time/money would have been better spent elsewhere.
