Great book, from the glory days of mechanical engineering. A pity it doesn't have dates or more information on how some of the machines work. Essential if you are a mechanical inventor.Book Review: not so great

To get 1800 things into this rather small book the descriptions are necessarily quite short I guess, one sentence in most cases and allot of them seem to be rather cryptic. Not really very useful or informative. Keep this one by your toilet for a quick glance once in awhile maybe.
