Book Reviews of 101 Things a College Girl Should KnowBook Review: cute, but a waste of money Summary: 3 Stars
This tiny little book has one "thing a college girl should know" on each page. The advice is certainly not groundbreaking, but it is rather fun to read. The only problem is that, as each page contains only one sentence, the book can be read in about five minutes. To me, five minutes of reading are not worth the $5 price. If you are looking for a book to help you out in college, or need a high school graduation present for someone, may I recommend the much more complete and valuable "The Real Freshman Handbook" by Jennifer Hanson or "College Survival" by Greg Gottesman and Daniel Baer.

Light and easy reading. Easy to refer to quickly. Advice that freshmen girls could really use.
Book Review: Oh, please..... Summary: 2 Stars
Honestly, it is just amazing to me that an author can make money from a publication (I refuse to even refer to this as a "book") with the kind of obvious advice that amounts to "Be careful at night, study hard and eat all your vegatables". Don't waste your money on this, this book can be read in 5 minutes in any store without paying for it. Several other reviewers have recommended more helpful and meaty sources of helpful advice for the college student and I concur. Pass this one up.
Book Review: cute book, but... Summary: 2 Stars
This is a really cute book, but upon opening it the disappointment was great. It reminds me of those 101 things to do in a bathroom type of lists that are passed around in emails; the advices were THAT short and many were common sense, about 10 advices in the book actually were helpful but those would easily have been found in other books. If you're looking for a college prep guide, don't waste your money. If you just want a cute book to give as presents, then by all means...
Book Review: Cute book filled with medicore common sense. Summary: 2 Stars
My sister is graduating high school this weekend, and I got this book as a part of her gift.
Lets just say, as a big sister who has a little sister who is going off to college, this book, or should I say booklet, is an absolute fail. I still got it because I think its cute. However, this is a very mediocre book when it comes to college advise. I suggest looking into other books
Seriously, I could have written a better book.
